Hello there! I'm Erika, a graphic designer and photographer.

I am committed to create memorable brands that are not just aesthetically pleasing but also have long-lasting characters and a clear voice.

I focus on creating visual solutions and creative concepts through identifying needs or problems, research, and testing.

Empathy is one of the most critical aspects of design in general. Anyone involved in the creation of a consumer-facing product, service, or company should have a better understanding of what customers want, need, or feel.

While there are standards, structures, and regulations in place, the design itself is flexible and constantly changing. A lot of things can influence our design, directly nor indirectly.

The design process is not achieved with one big leap. It takes several little steps to achieve the ideal state. In some of those little steps, one might make a wrong step, but that step makes us learn and adjust as one moves forwards as Paula Scher said “It’s through mistakes that you actually can grow. You have to get bad to get good.” That is why each project has something new to learn and takes me out of my comfort zone.

“The process of creativity is not easily come by, nor are all its phases easy to endure. We should then perhaps be prepared to discover that those who have high potential, as well as those who have demonstrated true creativity, will show a disposition to undertake problems where the degree of difficulty and frustration is great and will have a drive towards competition and accomplishment that is persistently strong.”
