The brief is to commemorate Ghibli Studio’s work from the start of its journey to what it becomes today and bring readers along with the story of the creator and the artwork of the studio.
The biography book includes the journey of how the studio starts. Erika has always admired their illustration style: how they create the animations—the way they showcase the expressions and stories of the characters feel real. This is because they have a very distinct style and story that are always authentic and original.
The artwork book includes some interactive elements that represent the story based on the movie, as well as how Ghibli created their animation. A significant example of such is how the characters could be moved manually reflects the animation itself but in the form of print.
